Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Xi’an / Free Exploration

Welcome to Xi’an — the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties!

Spend the evening exploring the city’s vibrant local culture: watch Shaanxi-style comedies or shadow plays at Qingqu Club or Yisu Society, or unwind with friends along Defu Alley’s cozy teahouses, where East meets West in the heart of the old city.

Morning: Visit Xiaonanmen Morning Market, known as “the lively world beneath Xi’an’s city walls.” Sample local snacks such as crispy royal beef pies and fragrant oil tea twists while mingling with locals.

Then: Stroll or cycle atop the Ancient City Wall, one of China’s most complete fortifications, and enjoy sweeping views of Xi’an’s skyline.

Afternoon: Discover Shuyuanmen Cultural Street, the “Liulichang of Xi’an,” where you can browse calligraphy scrolls, antique shops, and art studios.

Participate in calligraphy and shadow puppetry workshops, and witness Qinqiang opera performances — a powerful local art form filled with raw emotion and historical depth.

Travel to Lintong to visit the Terracotta Army Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site hailed as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Explore Pits No. 1–3, then continue to Emperor Qin’s Mausoleum (Lishan Garden) to see ancient burial architecture, bronze chariots, and official figurines.

Later, visit the Cultural Relics Restoration Center, where you can experience artifact restoration firsthand.

End the day with the immersive holographic show “Resurrection of the Legion”, a stunning 360° re-creation of the Qin army’s might using holograms, robotics, and Dolby surround effects.

Embark on a full-day trip to Mount Hua, famed as “The Most Precipitous Mountain in China.” Choose your challenge: the dizzying Plank Walk, the cloud-hugging Canglong Ridge, or a scenic cableway ride.

The mountain’s legendary spirit — bravery, loyalty, and heroism — comes alive in every climb, echoing through ancient martial tales and breathtaking landscapes.

After breakfast, return home or continue your journey to other destinations in China.
